A full weekend

Austin and I (Missy) had a quite a full weekend of hard work on the facade... left from the previous weekend was the ceiling in the middle of the front entryway and the two raised platforms on either side, as you can see below: All day Saturday we worked on getting the ceiling down. We didn't have the camera with us for that (unfortunately) but it took about an hour of us both on ladders loosening the nails on the left side. Then with some big pulls we got it to crash down in one piece; which was quite loud! There were even some people outside on the street that yelled in "Are you OK in there" afterwards :-). But, thanks to Alan's help we got it all cleaned up and into the dumpster (which was VERY difficult since it was mostly cement that weighed a LOT). We then pulled off all the boards that had been holding the ceiling up and at the end of the day it looked like this:

On Sunday we spent the day removing the raised platform on the left side in this picture:

And, all cleaned up it looked like this: And this is us, quite dirty after a long dayAnd a picture of the whole thing, we may get to the other side on Wednesday... but we'll see...
