New Roof

We should be getting a new top roof this week. We were pleased to get a very reasonable estimate from Larry Morgan Construction Company (who came with great recommendations) and they should be able to fit us in soon. The most complicated part was getting the city's permission to use a city parking lot for a crane to lift the roofing materials to the roof- we had to get our insurance company to add "City of Lawrence" to our policy, but, we got it done and are all set to go and to get rid of our leaking roof! What a relief that will be after all this wet weather.
