We've discovered something new in this process of building clean-up: people will pay you in cash for metal. That's pretty cool! After paying $450 for a dumpster and $200 at the dump to have people take our trash from us, getting paid for my trash is quite a concept! We've been making a metal pile (seen below) And we've found a place to take it less than a mile away: http://www.windfieldalloy.com/. We've made 3 trips so far and have made about $100. And they take EVERYTHING metal- what a relief as well to know all THIS trash gets melted down and reused instead of dumped into a big hole in the earth. It's qute satisifying :-)
