Structural Support

We finally have all the structural work completed at the cafe...hooray! First was the basement where we had to add several steel posts and beams down the center to shortan the span of the floor joists for the 1st floor. We also got new stairs to the basement and filled in where the old ones used to be. Here's what the basement looks like now:And for the first floor we also got several new posts and beams, including a 30ft steel beam in the back! (I still can't figure out how they lifted that up to the ceiling...):

And here are our new back stairs to the 2nd floor:

So now the real fun can start...building instead of destroying!
