Community Forum
This past Sunday (June 7) we had a community forum to get input from our friends and family regarding our plans for the café. Of course Missy and I cooked up a storm so everyone could have a little taste of what we are all about (fresh & yummy food). Here are some of the pics of what we all enjoyed during our meeting.
Apparently everyone loves Brazilian cheese bread. It will definitely be on the menu!

Okay, I have to confess: I am addicted to cake! Once I start eating it I cannot stop myself. People claim to suffer from the same problem after trying this coconut cake. I am not alone :)
And of course, it was a great excuse to make (and eat) chocolate truffles!
Thank you all for coming and giving such valuable feedback. We really appreciate you all and we are looking forward to implementing some of your ideas!

Missy cooks way better than she gives herself credit for! The quiches and bread were a hit!!!
I can't wait to taste some of this yummy looking food.... looking forward to coming to the cafe once it is finished. Might even be willing to wash some dishes, do some cleaning, etc...
Food and turnout were great. I can't wait to try a sandwich on that moist, crusty, tasty bread.
Wow. I am so impressed and envious of everyone who was there to eat the delicious looking food! Are you keeping the recipes a secret? Because I'd love to have them!
